PROCEDURE:

  1. Combine phase A in main beaker under high prop mix. Disperse and swell gum completely.
  2. Combine phase B in side beaker. Heating under very slow prop mix until liquid, then increase prop speed.
  3. Heat phase A and B to 75-85°C under high speed prop mix.
  4. At 80°C, add phase B to A slowly with homogenization at slow speed (1500-2500 rpm).
  5. When uniform, move to slow sweep and begin cooling.
  6. Below 40°C, move back to silverson and add phase C. Mix until uniform (3000-5000 rpm).
  7. Move back to sweep and drop below 30°C.
